Voetbalmaffia plot

In Voetbalmafia we follow the Dutch footballer Johnny who plays in Italy. After disappointing performances and an argument with the chairman, his club puts him on the transfer list. This is the beginning of his descent into the shadowy world of criminal gambling networks. Here the players are not the stars of the field but just merchandise. His descent into this world brings Johnny and his wife Renate to Thailand. Here he is confronted with embassy employee Gwen who is organizing a major football tournament in Thailand on behalf of the Netherlands.
