How is one able to remain a human being if one is daily confronted in her or his profession with such things as violence, hatred, other kinds of outrageous behavior, and all kinds of suffering? Care must be taken not to cross this thin, blue line as a police officer. Sara, Magnus, Jesse, Leah, Danie and Faye all want to join the police force. They try to combine their stressful job with their private life and business, and get them into harmony and balance accordingly. Their working life takes place on the streets of Malmö, a city with many sides.
