The Good Ship Murder plot
Jack Grayling is a former police detective who now works as a comedian and singer on a luxury cruise ship. While on a cruise from Southampton, Jack meets newly promoted first officer, Kate Woods. She is fierce and ambitious, a woman in a man's world who still has a lot to prove. After a passenger is found murdered at their first port of call, Kate's dream of her own command is threatened and Jack is thrown back into his former life as a detective.
