The Gambling Man plot

Rory Connor stubbornly strives for a better life. He has guts and a nose for business. With his brother Jimmy, he starts a small business, even if he has to betray his best friend and loses his childhood love. Rory is prospering, but the remorse for his betrayal and his extreme gambling lust hang over his life like a shadow. The ruthless, corrupt businessman Frank Nickle knows Rory's weaknesses and uses them against him.
