The Ambassador plot

The Ambassador revolves around the new British Ambassador to Ireland Harriet Smith. She represents the British government in Ireland, but soon finds out that this will be anything but easy. She will first have to find her way around her new position and environment when she arrives in Dublin. Smith comes at a time of big political issues and her job is more important than ever. However, in addition to her work, Smith also has the necessary private matters that she has to deal with.
