Svörtu Sandar plot
Detective Aníta Elínardóttir returns to her hometown after fifteen years. She doesn't feel like meeting the people she's been avoiding all along, including her own mother, with whom she has a dark past. When the remains of a young tourist turn up, she also becomes embroiled in the search for a serial killer.

Just enough. A very slow moving story with a pretty disturbing musical background. The plot itself could still be somewhat realistic, except for a few decent improbabilities and the unprofessional behavior of the various police officers, especially towards the predictable conclusion. In episode 7 it actually only became interesting, partly due to the remarkable way of filming some scenes, namely double: from the two main characters. There are still a few questions that have not been solved, but where the answers are obvious: who pushed grandma down the stairs and who is Salomon's father...
