Salto Mortale plot

The Swiss Doria family is a true circus family. The family is led by father Carlo Doria and consists largely of trapeze artists, the Flying Dorias. However, a tragedy has occurred. Mother Doria died in a fire in a circus caravan and eldest son Micha was maimed by burns to his face and hand. Under these circumstances, the family has temporarily withdrawn from circus life. However, when circus director Kogler sees his European tour in jeopardy, he calls on the Dorias.
