Ons Geluk plot

'Our Happiness' is set in rural Lagerzeel during the 1950s. René Hox is the son of Tist and Trien, the free birds of the village. Due to the intense contact with the bourgeois environment, René begins to alienate from his parents. He is taken in by Brouwer Onckeloms and gets to know the West Flemish Catholic Leontien. She will determine the rest of his life and his happiness.
