La Moderna plot
Madrid, 1930. Matilde is a young woman from a humble family who lives with her mother and three brothers. She arrives looking for a job at La Moderna Tea Room, one of Madrid's most elegant cafés. Before entering, she meets Iñigo, her childhood sweetheart whom she hasn't seen for eight years. Iñigo is now a wealthy young man and the right-hand man of Don Jaime, one of the city's most important businessmen. Passion flares up again between the two, but Carla, Don Jaime's wife and Iñigo's ex-girlfriend, won't allow it.
