Ku'damm 56 plot

Berlin, 1956. Dance school owner Caterina Schöllack has three daughters whom she assigns to integrate into the hierarchically structured society. Only two of them meet her expectations. Daughter Helga is going to marry a lawyer named Wolfgang Von Boost. Eva has planned every detail of her future. Part of this is that she plans to marry her boss, Professor Fassbender. Monika is the only one who goes her own way. Her great inspiration is rock 'n roll.

Ku'damm 56 (2016) is a delightful German romantic drama set in Berlin about 10 years after WWII. The three daughters all have their problems with love and it is quite difficult together. A daughter Monika is slightly more illuminated and magnificently portrayed by Sonja Gerhardt who was also good in the series Deutschland 83 - Season 1 (2015) - TvMeter.nl . The decoration in the was really a must see as well as the cars and furthermore all of Berlin that really looked like anno '56. Also roles by Katharina Schüttler (known from Unsere Mütter, Unsere Väter (2013)) and Uwe Ochsenknecht. Highly recommended and wonderful TV that I expect a 2nd season to be on the way. Because there is still enough to embroider on, a big 8 so 4* [/quote]
