Käthe und Ich plot

The dog Käthe supports her owner Paul, a psychologist who specializes in animal-assisted therapies. Paul and Käthe are a well-trained team - even in difficult cases. When they are called to Maria, a coma patient who unexpectedly awakens after five years, Paul interrupts his days off and the preparations for the arrival of his wife Erina, a ballerina he misses very much. For victim Maria, on the other hand, there is little prospect of a return to her old life. Her husband Johannes has been living with another woman for two years, who is now "mom" of their eight-year-old daughter. Paul and Käthe face the challenge of ensuring that Maria does not lose her fighting spirit again.
