Hope Street plot

The tranquility of the sleepy seaside town of Port Devine on the Northern Ireland coast is suddenly disrupted by the mysterious arrival of Leila Hussain, the first Muslim police officer in the town's history. The villagers want to know what this woman from the big city brings to this place. This loosens the tongues quite a bit, and everyone has their own wild story. Only Inspector Finn O'Hare knows the true reason for Leila's transfer, but he keeps it to himself. He joins Leila and the rest of the local police department to investigate crime in the town - and prevent Leila from dealing with her dangerous past.
