Het A-Woord plot
Six-year-old Sam prefers to listen to music on his headphones and effortlessly sing along to the most complicated lyrics. According to his parents, Mariel and Teun, that is no problem at all. Every child has its own quirks, but the rest of the family sees that there is more to it. When they are diagnosed with autism, it hits like a bomb. They do everything they can to avoid the A-word, but despite their well-intentioned and sometimes hilarious attempts to do the best for Sam, they have to believe that life can't always be made.
