Fields of Fire plot

In the 1930s, an Englishman emigrates to Australia. Because of his red hair, he is quickly nicknamed Bluey, in accordance with Australian tradition. He finds work as a sugar cane cutter. Life is hard, and so are Bluey's colleagues. Developments in Europe are already casting their shadows ahead, but the men do not realize how much their lives are about to change.
