Dunya en Desie plot

The life and adolescent problems of two girls from Amsterdam-North. Dunya comes from a Moroccan family and experiences a world in which the rules at home are sometimes very different than in the 'Dutch' outside world of her best friend. Desie comes from a one-parent family and lives with her mother in a typical 'girl household'. She is less intelligent than Dunya, but she does have a heart of gold. They both struggle with different life questions, but can talk about them well together.
