Doctors and patients experience hope and joy, love and suffering and death and life in the Black Forest Clinic in Glottertal. Professor Klaus Brinkmann is the new chief physician in his hometown. With his housekeeper Kati, he settles in his hometown, which is also home to his son Udo, also a doctor at the Black Forest Clinic. Both are interested in Sister Christa, but later she chooses the chief physician and marries him. The doctors of the Black Forest Clinic care for many patients with their minor and major illnesses.
