De Weg plot

Frans van Steenderen, owner of a small earth-moving company, is married to Jannie Majoor. A young lady that the whole village actually has a crush on. After years of childlessness, their son Arie is born after the war. Business is going well, but private life is less so for the van Steenderen family. Jannie leaves her husband and the young Arie. In the years that followed, everyone went their own way. Until Jannie is suddenly at the door again.
