When Karen moves to Bergen with her family, they are warmly welcomed into 'the dining club', a seductive group of friends who revel in the extravagant and dissolute life. Until one of the grand villas goes up in flames and their friend Evert loses his life. His wife and children barely survive. Karen soon discovers that the close friendship is held together by lies. Everyone has something to hide. Nothing is what it seems. So Karen sets out to find the truth, but at what price?
