Baptiste plot

Baptiste is about the gruff and stubborn inspector Julien Baptiste. When Julien and his wife visit Amsterdam, the chief of police, who is also a former girlfriend of his, asks for his help and knowledge to solve a crime. Soon, Julien becomes embroiled in a case that takes him to the city's grim underworld.

Takes place "14 months ago" and in "now" and in such a way that the "now" characters hint at an important event that happened 14 months ago. It takes some getting used to but in the end this process works well, especially in episodes 3 and 4 where a lot is happening and which are the best periods in the series.
But that's about it, because what follows is a disappointment, confused, too coincidental and globally unbelievable, like towards the end a shrewd terrorist flees from an old, half-crippled man and gets another beating too. .
The ending wants to bring some conclusion and morals but those last 20 minutes were allowed to go out.
