American Soul plot
Don Cornelius is a businessman in the 1970s. He wants to make a music and dance show on TV. For this he is looking for black investors, musicians and dancers, so that he can keep full control. He pulls it off and the show called Soul Train becomes a huge success, with all kinds of famous artists appearing in it. Life smiles on him, but both he and his dancers have to deal with problems privately and professionally.
