Formula 1: Drive to the Money (2019).
I had Drive to Survive on the digital shelf for some time. Postponing this documentary over and over to watch it became a sport for me. In daily life I have little to nothing with Formula 1 (but that has its cause). When the event is in progress, I hardly follow or watch it at all.
The day before yesterday I finally convinced myself and I can honestly say that I really enjoyed this documentary. That said, life in Formula 1 is tough: drivers lose their seats for the next year (sometimes totally unjustly). Various power games are going on that actually make you sick to your stomach. It's all about one thing and that's money. Sad if you ask me. It ruins the sport (for the normal person). What a waste. Mainly the power games prevent me from following Formula 1. I could go into more detail, but I don't feel like it at all, it's a waste of my time.
Anyway. Formula 1: Drive to Survive (2019) has become a documentary for me that proves once again that you don't have to love a certain sport in order to watch a documentary about it.

A changing documentary series. I've never been very fond of Formula 1, but since my job has recently sponsored Max Veratappen, I've started to delve into it a bit more. The series is a nice summary of the Formula 1 season. Due to the non-participation of some major players in this series, you miss some important details. Furthermore, the tension build-up is very good and this series offers quite a few insights into the behind the scenes of the Formula 1 world.
