Hand of God plot

Pernell Harris is a judge whose life has collapsed. His daughter-in-law was raped. As a result, his son tried to take his own life. His son is now in an artificial coma. Pernell does everything he can to keep his son alive. Pernell is a changed man after a run-in with a church community called Hand of God. His loved ones no longer recognize Pernell. That is starting to affect his career. His business ventures are also suffering. After this collision, Pernell begins to feel that God is speaking to him through his son. The messages he receives shed new light on the rape of his daughter-in-law. But are these messages correct? Isn't Pernell losing his mind? At least Pernell has a new calling. But is this calling the right one...
