Rundfunk: Duco en Roy (2023-2024)

Duco en Roy is more mature than Rundfunk, but at times old-fashioned adolescent. Sometimes the humor could come straight out of a Klokhuis sketch, other times it is brutal, and then again it comes out extremely witty. This incomprehensible mood could be experienced as annoying, but its consistency is refreshing and fits in with the duo's other work. It makes Duco and Roy a fun series, of which one twenty-minute episode per day would have been more than enough.

I have been looking forward to the sequel to Rundfunk for a long time, and very satisfied with the result. It takes some getting used to seeing the familiar setting and characters replaced. As mentioned above, it is a more mature series, without losing the absurdist humor of the duo. The highlight was definitely the Jim Bakkum episode. Never seen such a ridiculous story, and I mean that only in a positive way. Now looking forward to the new theater show soon.
