Andy Pruden is an American bank teller from Ohio. He travels to a tiny town in the Australian outback to visit his long-lost father Hugo. However, Andy is shocked to discover that Hugo has gone missing, in a town of only twelve inhabitants. In his quest to find him, another outsider named Cassie comes to his aid. They find themselves in increasing danger as they delve into the secrets of the town, where everyone is a suspect.
