Once upon a Small Town plot

Han Ji-yul works as a veterinarian in Seoul. One day he receives a call from his grandfather, who sounds serious. Ji-yul decides to go to the village of Huidong, where his grandfather lives and runs a veterinary clinic. There Ji-yul meets policewoman Ahn Ja-young. It turns out that his grandfather is touring Europe and sends word through a note that Ji-yul has to take over the veterinary clinic for half a year while his grandfather is away. He is helped in this by Ja-young, with whom Ji-yul develops a romantic relationship.
