Werner Träsch, Ralle Schieber and Tarik Büyüktürk are three men who work for the garbage collection in Berlin. Werner Träsch, the boss of the garbage collectors, has a relationship with Gabi "Späti" Hertz. The trio does its work with passion and great care. The three men also have a heart for the people around them, for whom they care and for whom they sometimes go out of the way to help. Träsch, Schieber and Büyüktürk are big fans of oldies.
