Rôdosu-tô Senki: Eiyuu Kishi Den plot

Five years after the death of Emperor Beld, former ruler of the island of Marmo, Parn and his friends are renowned on the island of Lodoss. However, danger still lurks. Beld's right-hand man the black knight Ashram is looking for the 'Scepter of Domination' with which he hopes to take over the island in the name of his former emperor. Elsewhere on the island, the gray witch Karla and the wizard Wagnard are plotting their own for Lodoss.
