In the 21st century, the existence of humanoid animals, which have lived in darkness for centuries, has been revealed to the world. One day, Michiru, who was a normal high school student, suddenly turns into a tanuki person. She runs away and takes refuge in Anima City, a place where humanoid animals can live like themselves. While there, Michiru meets a wolf-man, Shirou Ogami. Shirou investigates why she became a humanoid animal, only to get caught up in even stranger events.
