G vs E plot

Journalist Chandler Smythe is murdered on his 35th birthday by a demon-looking mobster. He wakes up in a police interrogation room and is offered to join the Corps. This group of special agents fights against the Faustians (people who have made a deal with evil) and the Morlocks (which become Faustians after death). Together with Henry McNeil, a black man who was murdered in the 1970s and dresses as Shaft, Chandler takes on evil forces in Hollywood.
