Asalto al Banco Central plot

Barcelona, May 23, 1981. Exactly three months have passed since the attempted coup in the Congress of Deputies and the population has barely recovered from the shock. Then eleven men wearing masks enter the headquarters of the Central Bank of Barcelona. The spectacular robbery becomes a real challenge to the new Spanish democracy. With more than 200 hostages in the bank, the robbers soon reveal a hidden objective that has nothing to do with obtaining financial loot.
