The Reckoning plot

This biography tells the story of disgraced TV personality Jimmy Savile. We see his rise from a working-class background to stardom as a BBC presenter, but also the sexual abuse scandal that became known after his death. This miniseries aims to respectfully give voice to the more than 500 victims of Savile's sexual abuse, while also helping us understand why a man like Jimmy Savile seemed immune from scrutiny and criminal prosecution for so long.
