Every two years, people from all over the world who have been injured during their military service are invited to participate in the Invictus Games. The international multi-sport event enables participants to recover through sport, but also fosters a mutual support network of people with similar difficult experiences. The Games were founded in 2014 by Prince Harry - the Duke of Sussex was himself a veteran of the British Army and wanted to create an opportunity to highlight the mental and physical strength of the world's former soldiers. This miniseries follows a group of participants on their way to the 2022 Games in The Hague.
