Thirteen-year-old Felix is having the perfect summer with his best friends when he makes an incredible discovery: his yellow vintage Walkman picks up sounds from the year 1989. Felix and his friends listen with fascination to the crazy and funny sounds of the past, but Felix also hears something disturbing. His own mother Marijke was on the trail of something dark in 1989. She recently passed away and Felix believes her search may have something to do with her death. Together with his best friends and Ella, a girl who is new to Roegerhout, Felix goes to investigate.
