In addition to being best friends, Marion and Marit are also partners in artificial swimming. They are about to finish high school and then move to Miami, but first they participate in the infamous Norwegian graduation ritual 'Russetiden'. In a world where looks and status are everything, they then discover that a seemingly harmless joke can go viral and change their lives forever.
