Life after Lock-Up plot

Why is it that former inmates in the UK are turning to crime again? In this documentary series, eight ex-offenders are followed for one year. How do they cope with their lives outside of prison? What are the routines that sustain their lives? The series provides an up-to-date insight into the pressures they face. Mental health, addictions, social mobility, poor employment and lack of education are elements that ex-prisoners are not freed from after their release.
