The Cube, the Big House and the Vault are high-security prisons made especially for the incarceration of super villains. Over the years, Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, the Hulk, Hawkeye, Black Panther, Ant-Man, Wasp and a few other heroes have helped fill those prisons with the most dangerous criminals in the world. Chaos ensues when the prison's security system crashes and all the inmates escape at once. The heroes face a heavy onslaught from super-villains bent on revenge. They are caught off guard: they could handle one or two villains, but 75? Individually they don't stand a chance, but together the Avengers can make a difference.
