The critical and flamboyant Herman den Blijker and Mr Reimers are given the challenge to take care of the dated family hotel 'De Druiventros' of the Mutsaers family in Berkel-Enschot in Brabant. The Brabant hotel has been around for forty years, but the future of the hotel has become uncertain due to the construction of a large and luxurious hotel nearby. Herman in the kitchen and Meneer Reimers as interior designer are doing everything they can to make it a top hotel again.
