We follow the experiences in the Jordaan neighborhood café ''t Schaep met de 5 Pooten', which is run by the owner Kootje de Beer and Lukas Blijschap. Neighbor Doortje Lefèvre, owner of a launderette, also often visits. In and around the neighborhood café, the regulars go through the latest neighborhood gossip. The curiosity of the various characters often leads to a lot of misunderstandings.
