United States of Al plot
Navy veteran Riley befriends Awalmir, aka Al, an interpreter who served with him in Afghanistan. Al has just moved to start a new life in America. Riley introduces Al to his family, and Al can't help but interfere in his friend's life: his broken marriage and the way he spoils his daughter. But despite everything, he struggles to adjust to civilian life in Columbus, Ohio.
