State of Affairs plot
Charleston Tucker, a top CIA analyst, provides daily briefings for the President. The country's list of critical security vulnerabilities involves a moral and political judgment entrusted to Charleston and her group of brilliant analysts. In addition, she has a personal relationship with the President's son. She was engaged to him until he was killed in a terrorist attack. In addition to her busy job, she also tries to get to the bottom of the mystery surrounding her fiancé's murder.
