Growing up on the sunny beaches of Australia, the three girls, Cleo, Emma and Rikki, don't really have much in common. But one day they make a special discovery. After returning from the mysterious Mako Island, they notice that they get a mermaid tail when they come into contact with water. And there is something special. The three also suddenly develop magical abilities.
