Deze serie zoemt telkens in op ingewikkelde conflicten waarvan de oorsprong soms in een ver verleden ligt en er zo ingewikkelde factoren zijn waardoor de strijd telkens weer oplaait, vandaar de titel "De eeuwige oorlog". Rudi Vranckx, de beste reporter van België, als je het mij vraagt, slaagt er in om soms bijna onbegrijpelijke conflicten, toch begrijpelijk uit te leggen. Aan de hand van experten, getuigenissen en archiefbeelden krijgen we een inzicht in het ontstaan en escaleren van conflicten. Er is al een tweede seizoen uit, welk ik misschien zelfs nog beter vind dan het eerste, maar het lukt me niet zo goed om hier series of seizoenen toe te voegen. Een absolute aanrader en nog lang gratis te bekijken op het platform van de Belgische openbare omroep VRTmax.

Rudi Vranckx, the best reporter in Belgium, if you ask me, manages to explain sometimes almost incomprehensible conflicts in an understandable way.

There is already a second season out, which I might like even better than the first, but I'm not very good at adding series or seasons here.

An absolute must and can be watched for free on the platform of the Belgian public broadcaster VRTmax for a long time to come.
