Nice series and good acting, but many shots take way too long, which stretches the series unnecessarily. As far as I'm concerned it lacks pace.

Nice to see a Polish series. If you are used to the over the top American drama, the modest way of playing these Eastern Europeans is a relief. In that respect they somewhat resemble their Scandinavian colleagues. The characters are generally strongly portrayed, with the exception of the adult Laura Goldstein, who is absolutely unconvincing. For a thriller, the series has little thrill, it is mainly mystery. It only gets a little tense towards the end. Every now and then something happens that makes you frown in disbelief. where does the Goldstein senior, who is stored in an institution, suddenly conjure up a loaded gun?. But hey, what do you want with a Coben film adaptation. The lock is also not very surprising if you know that it is a Coben.
All in all not bad, not a high flyer either.
