Between 1979 and 1981, at least 30 African American children and young adults disappeared or were murdered in Atlanta. Although 23-year-old Wayne Williams was charged with two of the crimes, the rest of the cases were ultimately closed after his 1982 conviction. Forty years later, with the case officially reopening by Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, This docuseries tells the story of the shocking tragedy and sheds new light on the gruesome murders through exclusive archival footage, unprecedented court documents and interviews with those closest to the children.
