Als de Brandweer plot

Traffic accidents and resuscitation, but also elevator lock-ups, escaped animals and entrapments: the fire service does so much more than just put out fires. The SBS6 program 'Als de Brandweer' shows the work of the Dutch fire service and shows what it is like to be in the shoes of these heroes when they race from a barracks to an incident. What starts in the control room with a frightened emergency call, is followed up when they step into the tanker sprayer within a minute and turn out with screaming sirens. Never before have viewers come so close to the fire. They experience everything through the eyes of the firefighters, who record their work themselves with various cameras.
