Doragon Bôru JîTî plot
Dragon Ball GT is the sequel to Dragon Ball Z. Goku joins Trunks and his granddaughter Pan on a journey across the galaxy in search of the mysterious 'Black Dragon Balls'. During their quest, the trio discover many different planets, make new friends and face formidable adversaries. Also, a new enemy appears on the scene that brings a big challenge.

This is not the most popular series in the Dragon Ball series. However, I had a great time with Dragon Ball GT at the time.
Perhaps that's because everyone was very negative about it... my expectations were so low that it could only be better than expected. The series took a while to get going, but it just got more fun.
It started with a nod to the original Dragon Ball. A little Goku who goes in search of Dragon Balls with two companions and encounters a few opponents along the way. As the series progresses there will be more Dragon Ball Z content in the series. More action, and an adult Goku (in the form of Super Saiyan 4) and of course another clash between Goku and (Baby) Vegeta.
Although it will never be as cool as Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT was a very entertaining series for me. To make a comparison with Dragon Ball Super... the design of most opponents was often better in GT than in Super. Take for example a Hit, Top or Jiren. Don't look like Toriyama was in the most creative phase of his life. A new version of Frieza is really nothing more than replacing the color silver with gold. I'd rather watch a General Rilldo, a Baby Vegeta, Super 17, Oceanus Shenron or Omega Shenron.
The design of Super Saiyan Blue is in fact nothing more than replacing the yellow from Super Saiyan 1 with blue. Then I prefer Super Saiyan 4, in my opinion still the coolest Super Saiyan design.
I'm also reading the Dragon Ball Galaxy Touring manga now. Also very nice.
On the internet I regularly see discussions started by Dragon Ball GT "haters" who want / wish / think GT is not "canon". As far as I'm concerned, it's a great addition to the Dragon Ball series.
