Kaubōi Bibappu plot
In the year 2071, humanity has colonized the entire solar system through the use of "Phase Difference Space Gates". A catastrophic accident during Gates' development has damaged both the Earth and the Moon. The majority of humanity must evacuate to other planets, but wherever one goes, criminals go with them. The new police unit decides to set up a bounty hunters system to take out all the criminals. Four inhabitants of the spaceship Bebop go on a hunt and are barely making ends meet as bounty hunters.

I remembered the series as following more of a story arc through all episodes, but that turned out to be less so after a long time watching it again.
Nevertheless, it is understandable that for many this is their favorite anime.
In terms of (drawing) style, music, atmosphere, ... it is difficult to match this.
The characters and scenarios are also well put together.
Also nice that despite some busty ladies, the oversexed Japanese side is further omitted.
