Eight singles take the daring step to tie the knot with a complete stranger. A team of experts matches the adult singles based on scientific research. The matched candidates see each other for the first time at their wedding, a few minutes before the yes. After the wedding, the newlyweds go on a honeymoon to finally get to know each other. Back in the Netherlands they are confronted with everyday life, their work, but also friends and family. After five weeks of marriage, the candidates come back to the experts and make the decision: stay married or divorce?
