Hardcastle and McCormick plot

Milton Hardcastle is a former judge who left his profession regretting not being able to cage several criminals who got away with bureaucratic quips. In one of his final hearings, Mark McCormick, ex-pilot and car thief, is wrongly accused of murdering his friend Johnny Johnson. Hardcastle is convinced of his innocence and takes him into custody by making a pact with him.
