Mannix plot
Joe Mannix is a private detective. He worked for the agency Intertect, which worked with a very modern computer system. Over time, however, he starts his own business and moves into a building where he both has an office and lives. He is aided in his work by his secretary Peggy Fair, whose husband, a friend of Mannix's and a former police officer, was killed while doing his job.
